It has been more than a year since I last blogged. From that moment on, a lot has changed in my life. I have been accepted to the best university in the world 2017 and 2018 to do a Masters degree in a field that has been my career for the past 13 years, and will continue to be in until I am 60, Insya Allah. About 22 more years. It takes a lot of sweat and tears to be here. People have broken my hearts and I found out loyalty means nothing to some of whom you pledged your allegiance to. The year has also thought me to be mindful of who your really friends are, and that nothing is impossible. You just have to know what you are willing to sacrifice.... and if it is all worth it... It was by the mercy of Allah that I am finally here, in Oxford ~ a place I never even thought I would be lucky enough to visit.
